In silver, obverse shows portrait of Queen Victoria facing left, reverse shows marching and mounted soldiers with arms with an elephant carrying a cannon, clasps on original striped ribbon from Kandahar, Kabul, Charasia, and Peiwar Kotal, rim of the medal engraved with the recipient's rank, name and unit (1088 Serg[t] G. Youngson 72nd High[RS]), inclusive of suspension 42. 6 mm (h) x 36. 2 mm (w), very fine condition. Footnote: The
